commissioner of Elections Mahinda Deshapriya predicts that,this election might be the last election which uses posters and cut-outs in the campaign propaganda.
He further points out that, comparing to previous elections the percentage of displaying posters and cut-outs have dramatically gone down.
Commissioner of Elections said that the Police has shown their utmost support in the mission of removing and taking actions against illegal election propaganda and the credit goes to the Sri Lanka Police for their service in carrying out a clean election.
He appreciated the support from the people in rising against illegal election propaganda and points it out as a possitive improvement of people in the country for a fair election.
